I don't think the problem is the show's "identity crisis", the problem is some viewers need to pigeon-hole a show/movie into one genre.

the problem is that reviewer is just stupid - a show does not have to be ALL DRAMA or ALL comedy, you can be both.

unfortunately the reviewer can't think and type at the same time, and if he tried to chew gum his head would freaking explode.
