Jim Parsons marries longtime boyfriend

The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons married his boyfriend of almost 15 years, Todd Spiewak, on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Rainbow Room in New York City, Page Six exclusively reported. Further details on the ceremony, including a guest list, were not revealed, although a rep for the four-time Emmy-winning actor confirmed that the nuptials did indeed happen.

After years of speculation, Parsons came out as gay during a 2012 profile for The New York Times. The actor celebrated his 14-year relationship with an "awww"-worthy Instagram post in 2016. "I met this guy (the one with the mic) 14 years ago today and it was the best thing that ever happened to me, no contest," he wrote. "One of his greatest gifts to me is that he no longer takes me to sing karaoke."

Incidentally, last week, Parsons told a fan on Watch What Happens Live that he and Spiewak would "probably" get married one day.

2017 has already been a huge year for Parsons. In addition to getting married, his show, The Big Bang Theory, was recently picked up for two additional seasons by CBS.
