Was the show actually about Barney and Robin's love story?
Think about it, it makes perfect sense for Ted to start a story about Tracy where he did because the show starts with the day Barney and Robin met and the writers spends the entire last season around their wedding; which is what led to Ted meeting the mother.
Every aspect of Barney and Robin's love story leads Ted to Tracy. Tracy was barely in the show for her to be the main character and there was WAY too much character development for me to believe that Ted and Robin got back together. Then again, Barney and Robin get divorced almost immediately and Barney's character arc gets completely discarded. |
