Question Ubiquitous songs from the '90s that you rarely hear anymore

I'll start.

"Take a Bow" by Madonna. It was #1 for SEVEN weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1995 and was #1 on the radio airplay chart for ELEVEN weeks, by far Madonna's biggest most played radio hit in the US.

The song was inescapable it was even officially used as Friends' first season finale as Ross and Rachel's love song.

I've seen it said that this song was all over the place in 1965.

God bless you and the family of my late beautiful precious always!!!

Holly

P.S. Sadly I didn't enter the picture until 1982.

Not sure what this has to do with the 90's.

^^^ His last recording of the song was released in 1998.

P.S. I don't know why, but Billy Joe released at least five recordings of the song.

Three big 90's songs you hardly hear anymore are No Rain by Blind Melon, Stay by Lisa Loeb and Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover by Sophie B. Hawkins. They came out when I was in high school/college and they were played all the time on radio.

Missing by the British band Everything But The Girl. It was an absolutely huge worldwide hit for them and it was being played everywhere, to the point that I was pretty sick of it. I haven't heard it in a really long time now. It's a good song actually, but it really got overplayed.

I was thinking of this the other day too as I was in my car but I rarely hear any songs played by these artists that were big in the 90's

The Spice Girls
Ace Of Base
Toni Braxton
Aqua

I remember a time when I couldn't go anywhere without hearing "Wannabe" by The Spice Girls. I did hear "Spice Up Your Life" last week on a Target commercial recently because Victoria "Posh" Beckman has a new clothing line there.

I never hear Ricky Martin.

You know what other songs aren't heard on the radio these days? Do the Bartman by the Simpsons and Chocolate Salty Balls by Chef
