Default Suzanne no show at Antenna Tv's 40th Anniversary Marathon

I wonder why Suzanne was a no show at Antenna tv's Three's Company 40th Anniversary reunion. I would thought she would have wanted to be there. Maybe she wasn't asked. She could still be bitter about being fired.

I wonder why prim daughter of a minister Chrissy who was horrified at the thought of being mistaken for a prostitute is so approving of Janet being bold enough to "strip for a cause".

What was that cause supposed to be exactly?

Anyway, if SS didn't want to be part of the 40th reunion for whatever reason she could have at least done some solo taped appearance for the retrospective.

We discussed this in another thread. Antenna TV said in a reply on their Facebook page that Suzanne was "not made available to them," which I guess means that she declined the invite.

But I also think the other cast members dislike her despite her and Joyce "making up" a few years ago. The reunion video was great but it was so weird to watch them pretend that Suzanne is either dead or never existed. They did not even mention her name.

The "cause" was to allow the nude sunbathers to have access to their own beach without being bothered.

And I think Chrissy explained why she wasn't bothered by the idea of demonstrating in the nude: "If they see me nude, it wouldn't matter because I don't know them and they don't know me and I don't know who's seeing me and they don't know who they're seeing. But I know you and you know me and I'll know who you'll be seeing and you'll know who you'll be seeing and both of them are me! See?"

Thank you, I should have thought of that.

They really needed a "Chrissy to English" dictionary in that apartment. Even goofy Furley couldn't understand her sometimes.

She could have at least sent her boobs.

I agree! Chrissy made a lot of sense once I got the hang of translating her craziness.

Default Suzanne Somers looks back on 40 years of 'Three's Company'

The others can't stand her and think she's a narcissist. Jenilee Harrison said in an interview recently that she met Suzanne once and Suzanne was nice to her face and then complained in the press afterward.

I guess it depends on who you believe. John's wife Amy Yasbeck and Suzanne confirm that he and Suzanne reconciled before he died. I think John Ritter might have been the ONLY one who would have been able to join everyone together.

I think John Ritter's death and Suzanne's opportunistic behavior afterward created some permanent riffs. Joyce and Richard stayed close with John through the years, but it was Suzanne who phoned up Larry King the day after he died to gush about she and John were buddies...I know that for me that kind of tasteless fakery would put a permanent stink on someone.

At this point I'm on Team Suzanne vs. everybody else in the Three's Company cast. Their egos won't let them forgive for some reason.

I agree. I think it's a shame they can't get past it 40 years later.
