What I mean is what actors can you name had started to "feel their hype" and demand more money, try to get creative freedom or just became a pain to work with.

IIRC, Jan-Michael Vincent became like this on Airwolf in the 1985-86 season (third one, and last of the CBS seasons).

John Amos who played James Evans,
Sr. was kicked off Good Times for this, although it wasn't about money. |

Can this apply to movies too? if so then Crispin Glover was replaced as George McFly in the Back To The Future parts 2 and 3 films when he asked for more money.

The ironic thing is that none of the celebs we've listed found much success in film after TV. Somers had that terrible "Nothing Personal" movie, then pretty much nothing. Caruso had...well, not much. Farrah had middling success but certainly nothing blockbuster.
Travolta is the one example I can think of where the "Hollywood" gambit really worked. |

Will Smith had a big head, had Aunt Viv fired and went onto global stardom.
His career has hit some bumps lately which probably humbled him to some degree. He and his wife Jada can be kind of annoying to tell you the truth. |

Just embarrassing. She STILL asked for that unreasonable raise despite how badly that "movie" flopped. BTW, she still hasn't sent me the ring I ordered from her on Christmas. I did get the bracelet and her biography though. I digress.

But what's past is past. She made up with her co-stars, from what I've read, and she really strikes me as a pretty decent person. |

What did Suzanne Somers want? I thought she just wanted equal pay with John Ritter, but reading here makes me see there was more to it.
