Thumbs down

Because television was invented in 1989.

Confused

Seriously, how old are the people who make these lists?

That has to be it! According to these people, if it's not current, it's not worth seeing. Let them be of that opinion if they will, but I will never be part of the fanbases of any of these series.

It lists “The Office” (UK) season 3 as #5 on the list. But unless I’m missing something, there IS no season 3. There were two seasons and a Christmas special.

I'd like to attempt my own version of this list but using sitcoms only. Of course it's all my favorite shows, so barely anyone here at Sitcoms Online would agree with it, since my taste seems to be different from most posters on here.

That list is an insult to my intelligence, suggest immediate deletion.

If it's according to metacritic scores, then it is not an accurate representation of TV critic's opinions on the best seasons. They usually write a review for the first few episodes that they get sent before it premieres, and that's it. Game of Thrones season 5 is widely considered the weakest season to date and it's on the list based on positive reviews of the screener episodes.

Upon seeing this thread, I thought the people who compiled this list found that it would be really exhaustive to delve into the pre-1990 era of television just to find the best TV show seasons of "all time", so they had to limit their selections to the "New/Second Golden Age of Television".

"Stay Safe"? More like "Stay Sad".

As a fan of The Soprano's Season 6 shouldn't be on this list. Seasons 2 and 3 yeah needs to be there.

LOL, yep that's the way these "lists" masquerading as articles always seem to go.

I guess we have to remember they were more than likely compiled by people in their 20s or 30s, who only had access to TV during that time period and haven't bothered to check out DVD sets of the old shows.

Kids.
