As many of you know by now, Alan Thicke tragically passed away not to long ago. Thicke is of course best known for playing the father on the show Growing Pains, but he also played another kind of father during the '80s. That being Dr. Jonas Carson in the Disney Channel's Not Quite Human trilogy from 1987-1992. It's especially hard to believe that the original film is coming up on its 30th anniversary and it's STILL not out on DVD nor are its two sequels.

I wonder if it would be fitting to expand this to include shows and movies like Ex Machina. That is a good movie, and it has elements that I would have done kinder.
