Howard Hesseman goes from Dr. Johnny Fever on WKRP in Cincinnati to Sam Royer on One Day at a Time to Charlie Moore: The Original Head of the Class

LOVE HOTC, I use to watch it on abc when I was in Kindergarten up to 4th Grade, wasn't too sold on Billy Conally being The NEW Head of the Class

I also watched it in reruns on TBS SuperStation along with Growing Pains and TV Land

Warner Bros. Television brought Head of the Class to abc 30 years ago this fall following the success of Growing Pains and Spenser for Hire

In fact, Growing Pains and Head of the Class ran back to back on abc on Wednesday Nights beginning in the Spring of 1987 and later in reruns on TBS back in 1993
