Over two years ago, NBC finally dropped the ax on Dan Harmon’s low-rated cult hit sitcom Community after five seasons. While a beloved show among those who tuned in, Community’s audience never really expanded beyond its faithful followers, and seemed on the brink of cancellation almost every year it was on the air. Still, that didn’t stop a vocal fan outcry from occurring online, chastising NBC for not at least allowing Community to make it to the fabled “six seasons and a movie” milestone.
