Question Has Nancy McKeon retired from acting?

It's been five years since Nancy McKeon has been in front of a television camera. Has she formally retired from show business to raise her family?

I'm not complaining about her choice - I'm just wondering if it has ever formally been acknowledged/addressed?

I did not know that Nancy had a family. Are you saying that she has a husband and children? I would be very interested in knowing what her current situation is like.

Fairly easy to find out about her marriage and kids...

As I've been watching the series on DVD, I thought about this thread again. I wonder if we will ever see Nancy on screen again...

Maybe she wants to be like Lisa and take time away from acting to raise her kids and then once they fly from the nest go back into acting.

Now seven years... perhaps she has become a full-time mom...

My guess is that she has left acting - at least temporarily - to raise her family. Pam Dawber and Susan Saint James are two others who did the same thing.

Her last IMDb credit was Love Begins (TV Movie 2011) and she is not listed anywhere on social media. 2011 was also the last year she appeared in public when she went on stage with the rest of the cast of The Facts of Life to accept a Pop Culture Award at the TV Land Awards.

She is 51 now and she had her second child about five years ago so my guess is that she’s busy being a mother now.

I’m wondering if Nancy’s turn on DwtS means she might be interested in coming back to acting... perhaps her kids are old enough that she could resume her career.

This would be a great way to jump-start her career, if that's her goal.
