Question Worst Network

http://us.imdb.com/boards/showpost.p...collapsed&sb=5

I want to know what you think. What do you feel is the worst network and why?

UPN for it’s B acting then getting rid of the only shows worth watching like Buffy and Under One Roof?

FOX for the sensationalism of it’s programming?

ABC, which doesn’t have a single show worth watching.

NBC for trying to be hip and just end up looking like the cast of any of their drool sitcoms?

Cool

USA Network for dumping Wings reruns.

A&E for dumping NewsRadio reruns.

ABC for having nothing good on and getting rid of 2 Guys and a Girl.

CBS for starting the reality show craze and for those awful Hallmark movies.

NBC for having pretty much Nothing But Crap on nowadays.

UPN is just eww..only good thing bout them is that they show many reruns in most areas. ABC is good. So is CBS. NBC is ok. FOX is ok. WB has a little bit of good shows.

Nickelodean- because it has gone downhill since they added all of those new nicktoons and dumped some of the network's originals.

Nick at Nite- for dumping all of my favorite tv shows such as I Love Lucy and not airing any classic "classic tv" as well as just airing junk of the 80's.

Disney- for dumping all of the true "classics" and adding a whole bunch of originals.

Not to mention "Perfect Strangers" reruns in 1998!

And having the Victoria's Secret show November 15.

I'll mention CBS for their lack of interest in a reunion of "The Waltons" and giving us "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" instead.

NBC for having pretty much Nothing But Crap on nowadays. [/QUOTE]

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great abbreviation!!!

That's for sure! What's the last good show they had since "Hill Street Blues"? (Granted, "The Cosby Show" was occasionally good.)

NBC is running neck in neck with Fox for my choice for worst network. Fox is high up there for running "Married ... with Children" for more than ten seasons and refusing to cancel "The Simpsons" (how old is Bart now, 40???), not to mention bringing back "The Family Guy" after cancelling it a few years ago.

Red face

I forgot to mention Nick at Nite for their selection of shows from the 1980s (the only ones I find worth watching which started in 1980 or later are "Perfect Strangers" and "The Wonder Years"), especially "Cheers" and "Family Ties" (and soon "Roseanne" ). They got rid of pure good entertainment in "The Wonder Years", "Happy Days", "Laverne & Shirley" and "The Brady Bunch".

Oh, and I'll also mention TNN for abandoning wholesome entertainment like "The Waltons" (fortunately TV Land will air this come May) and giving us that WWF violence (pure garbage IMHO). Why did it have to sell out to Viacom in the first place???

UPN also shall be mentioned for "WWF Smackdown!", as well as adding offensive content to "Roswell".

The Worst Networks:
UPN
HBO
CBS
PAX
Basically because the networks shows are all a bunch of crap. My opion is the only networks worth watching is NBC for shows like Friends, Willand Grace and ER.

Default Worst Network

Any network that decides that the ending credits aren't worth airing gets my vote as the worst network. I may be in the minority, but I really enjoy seeing the final credits.
To all those networks (like Discovery, etc) who are thinking about dumping the closing credits because the audience either switches channels or runs to the bathroom--phooey on all of you! May TV Land never get so stupid as to do that to us...
