Default CNN’s The Eighties kicks off with a 2-hour episode devoted to TV

http://variety.com/2016/tv/columns/t...de-1201738331/

The CNN documentary series begins by focusing on the groundbreaking shows that came out of the 1980s.

They're NOT mentioning The Cosby Show? Shame on them!

The allegations aside, the grounds the show broke should NOT be ignored. It should NOT be banned form the airwaves. Legacy erasing needs to stop this instant.

I missed it. It wasnt that good?? I would steer clear of mentioning the Cosby Show myself. To me, everytime I think of the show now, I think of what Cosby did. And thats a shame because there were some good episodes. This is just my opinion, but to me the show is tainted.

Didnt the FOL actually debut in 1979?

It might be tainted but how do you talk about TV in the 1980's without mentioning TCS. It was the biggest show of the decade.

Default CNN’s The Eighties has a bigger debut than The Seventies and The Sixties

Last night's Raised in Television premiere attracted about 1.42 million viewers.
