Default ‘Fuller House’ ripped to shreds by reviewers

For months Netflix and the cast of the ‘90s show “Full House” have been endlessly promoting the reboot of the fan-favorite series, “Fuller House.” On

The critics didn't like the original Full House so who cares what they think. All that matters is the fans. Most of the critics didn't like any of the TGIF sitcoms.

I honestly didn't expect the critics to like it. Who really cares what they think anyways?!

Considering their general reaction when this show was announced, this should surprise nobody.

It appears extremely absolutely obnoxious to me. Seems like the actors are trying to imitate a parody of themselves or something, as opposed to being true to their characters. Very poor acting, writing, directing and even lighting. The entire production is very badly executed. Good idea, but poorly executed. Gonna take a lot to fix it...

I've only seen the first one so far and I think DJ, Stephanie and Kimmy Gibbler are just fine. It's the men (mainly Bob Saget) that I'm not feeling it from. I guess maybe it's a good thing they're only guest stars, lol. There were some cringe worthy moments in the episode, which was expected but it was perhaps more cringe worthy than I thought. For me anyway.

Most fans can't see past the sappy nostalgia. I give it 2-3, maybe 4 or 5 episodes until that all disappears. It won't last past 1 season...next sequel is going to be "Empty House"....

I just watched the second episode and it was a lot better. I think they picked some good kid actors, too.

Yep, it's pretty much more Full House.

The pilot was like a reunion ep to catch the viewers up on their lives and relive the past, but ep 2 feels more like a new series than reunion. I like it a lot.

so far (2 episodes in) the writing is a little bit more PG to PG 13 while most of full House (minus a handful of episodes) was on the G to PG scale

gonna watch 1 more and crash, finish the season this weekend lol

I friggin hate Netflix for releasing it all at once, they should drop like 2-3 episodes a week for 8-13 weeks and have 25 episode seasons

Full House when it first premiered on ABC in 1987 was written off as schmaltzy crap. If I'm not mistaken,a review in TV Guide or something that called it ABC's worst new show of that fall season.

‘Full House’ Is Bad, ‘Fuller House’ Is Worse, So Why Can’t I Stop Watching?

Call me an old fuddy duddy but I have NO IDEA how Netflix works. Did they stream the whole Fuller House series already? How many episodes is that?

You know what? I am tired of the critics always knocking reboots. Girl Meets World, The Muppets, The Gilmore Girls and now Full House. You want to know why fans get excited for reboots? Because they enjoyed those shows and most of what is on TV now sucks.
