Default Would you rather go on JEOPARDY or WHEEL OF FORTUNE?

Let's say that the two shows have each made a policy change making each more like the other.

In JEOPARDY'S case, it's that you get to eat what you kill; that is, if you come in second or third, you get whatever your final score was, subject to the $2000 minimum for coming in second and $1000 for coming in third. But otherwise everything's the same: winners come back the next game to defend their championship, and may keep at it as long as they keep winning (or don't get tired of the whole thing and just go home).

In WHEEL's case, the change is that winners are also champions as on JEOPARDY, returning in successive games to defend their titles until they lose or get sick of looking at Pat's comb-over. Nothing else changes. You still get to keep whatever cash and prizes you've won in a round even if you lose the overall game.

Given these conditions, and assuming you have the chance to go on either game, but not both, which do you choose?

I would probably say Jeopardy. Everyone gets disgusted with me because I win a lot of trivia games I doubt I'd win but it would be fun.

I honestly would not be a good contestant on either. Jeoprady would have to be stocked with a lot of subjects I know about, stuff like American History, Geography, Presidents, American politics, 1980's bands. I also find Alex Trebek grating as hell, especially when he does his stupid voices.

Wheel of Fortune would be a little bit better, and I would have more fun with that and think would have more of a "screw it" attitude, and just have fun with it and if I did lose, it would be a lot more fun that trying to rack my brain with two other people with Masters degrees.

The 1970's Match Game would be where I want to be a contestant!

Wheel Of Fortune. I have to admit that I'm a bit too stupid for Jeopardy although I'm good at trivia

Jeopardy because too much of your outcome is dependent on luck on Wheel of Fortune, whereas as long as you can maintain control of the board you can control your own outcome.

That's my logic for the other way. A regular Jeopardy contestant would wipe the floor with me, whereas on Wheel l would have a shot.

I'm not smart enough for Jeopardy, so Wheel of fortune for me! The one I'd really like to go on is Let's make a deal though!

I don't know what this says about me but lately it seems Jeopardy is dumbing down the questions. Sometimes I am astounded by some of the people on there. Having said that, I actually did pass the Jeopardy test and only turned it down because I'd have to pay my own way there including hotel and food. This was many years ago when they still did the 5 day minimum so it may have changed. I'd prefer Jeopardy I think because it's more brains whereas Wheel is more luck. Plus Wheel is one day only. I have brains but not much luck so Jeopardy would be better.

I'd think I would go to Let's Make a Deal in my Twinkie The Kid costume I went as a few years ago for Halloween.
