Why hasn't Katey Segal or Christina Applegate been on Modern Family?

Peg should be proud that Al Bundy cleaned out the shie store bank accounts, got another identity and is now a billionaire closet maker in Los Angeles.

Modern Family should do a Halloween episode where Gloria is dressed up like Peg Bundy. Maybe Ed can be Al again or maybe he just be in on the joke.
