It is NOT politically correct to smoke in front of children. How a person treats their child is EVERYBODY'S Business these days, and if Lopez is not punished swiftly and accordingly, sponsors will be boycotted, rallies and marches held and he will of course lose his high-profile job.

Exactly. Sure, it wasn't a smart thing to do, but it's not like it's the end of the world. I think Mario should be cut some slack. His behavior was a bit careless, but it's not like he was smoking meth-amphetamine in front of his child. It was just a cigar. I think we should move on.

I still think Mario should get arrested for smoking cigars because anyone who smoke cigars will suffer in too many problems, especially when they get arrested immediately by the police.

In all seriousness, how much do we really know from a picture? Mario is pretty much into body building and fitness, doesn't strike me as a person who would smoke, drug or drink heavy! Maybe somebody just had a baby, and passed out cigars or something being traditional! And Mario lit up and took a puff or two and put it out! I know his baby was right there , but come on I don't think he makes a habit of smoking around his kid! And it wasn't like he was blowing the smoke in the baby's face or anything!

And like Wawwie said it's not like he was smoking Meth !! Or crack or even weed in front of his kid!! Come on!!! Give the guy a break!!!

I completely agree that Mario must face arrest and/or a hefty fine paired with 100 hours of community service. Wrong is wrong - comparing what he did to worse crimes doesn't lessen the crime in question. “OK, so I kidnapped you; at least I didn't murder you.”

To me, what he did was no favor to that baby or to himself, but to arrest him for it is rather out there too in my opinion.

P.S. If everyone who smoked around kids were arrested for doing so, there wouldn't be enough room in the jails for those who are guilty of much worse.

Big f**king deal. As long as Mario didn't burn his (then)twenty-month-old son with his cigar, it's all good in the hood. Personally, if Mario chooses to suck on stogies in the comfort and privacy of his own home, that's his g**damn business. More power to him.
