Oh my god! I didn't know that a co-star of his in Leo And Me had the disease. I thought it wasn't the contagious type. I was sure I had read or heard somewhere that Michael J. Fox had said that his disease wasn't the contagious type. Maybe it is contagious and he just doesn't know it.

It's probable that they didn't believe you could "catch" it, but now they are beggining to think it is possible.

From reading the article I don't think it was saying you can catch it necessarily like the way you catch the flu. I think that what it is saying is that pesticides, and environmental hazards make catching it more likely. Kind of like how being around asbestos can make a person more likely to be diagnosed with cancer.
