Default Leah Remini on Cheers

I had no idea that Leah Remini once guest starred on Cheers, I wonder how I never saw that episode before. I saw an episode last night with Leah Remini as Carla's pregnant teenage daughter, and she was marrying the father of her baby and they were doing the wedding at the bar. I suppose that's the first time she met Kirstie Alley and from there she eventually got mixed up in that stupid Scientology cult. Leah Remini sure hasn't changed much from all those years ago, it said the episode was from 1993. She still looks as good as ever.

Leah Remini sure does look just as beautiful, only more mature. She often guest stars on the current sitcom called The Exes. She looks great.

Leah was actually in 2 episodes of Cheers as Serafina Tortelli(Carla's Daughter). In 1991 she was in the episode called Unplanned Parenthood which is probably the episode you saw. She also appeared in 1993 in the episode called Loathe and Marriage.

Leah Remini was already in Scientology at that time. Her mother was a long-time Scientologist. She raised her children in that cult.

Default Kirstie Alley Retweets Jenna Elfman Quote Following Leah Remini Interview: "I'm Not I

http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-...rview-20153110

Quote:
Timing is everything. On Friday, Oct. 30, just hours after Leah Remini sat down with ABC’s 20/20 in an exclusive interview about Scientology, Kirstie Alley took to social media to express her thoughts — in someone else’s words.

Quote:
“What is important to me? I give a damn about making the world a better place,” the quote read. “I care about seeing others smile with genuine happiness. I think the world needs more of that. I’m not interested in sensationalism. I’m interested in seeing other people do well. And spreading kindness, warmth and sincerity. I never forget to appreciate the absurd. And I find it uplifting to admire what’s right in others. I also find it pleasurable to be totally ridiculous. xo Jenna.”
Though Alley has remained mum recently with her reactions toward Remini’s decision to tell all about her experiences with the church, the Drop Dead Gorgeous actress has addressed her feud with Remini in the past.

Quote:
“She left the religion and she was very critical,” Alley told Howard Stern in January. “That’s just sort of water under the bridge. There’s nothing going on and there was nothing going on for years. I didn’t shun her, but if a lotto people are rejecting you, at some point you gotta ask, ‘What am I doing?’ I mean, that’s what I would have asked myself.”
When Remini first announced her decision to leave the church in 2013 after 30 years, Alley told Stern at the time that the King of Queens star’s anti-Scientology remarks were “bulls—t” and called her a "bigot."

Quote:
“The thing about me is I don’t care what religion you are,” Alley said at the time. “If someone is attacking your religion, I will have your back, and I will defend you I think that is the most repulsive thing a person can do, attack another person’s faith.”
Earlier that year, Remini had told Ellen DeGeneres that she lost friends she’d had “for dozens of years” when she decided to leave the organization.

I didnt realize that she did so many early guest spots before the King of Queens! She had a short recurring role on Saved by the Bell in that same era, early 90s!

Ironically, The King of Queens co-creator and executive producer Michael J. Weithorn actually wrote an episode of Cheers.

I always thought if Cheers returned for a 12th season after Ted Danson left, that the Sarafina character would become a regular. Probably as a second waitress. She was young and attractive and would of helped bring in younger viewers.

I remember seeing Remini in that episode listed above and she was fantastic. You could tell she had a huge future in the business.

Kevin James should have pulled a Cosby and hired her to play his wife in his new series.

The phrase "pulling a Cosby" should probably be retired from the lexicon.

I really don't understand this remark.

Bill Cosby is a good, upstanding family man with nary a hint of scandal.

I thought that when watching his new show, the new wife is unfunny and they have zero chemistry unlike Kevin and Leah did in King Of Queens from the very first episode.

If he wasn't going to hire Remini he should have at least hired another actress who had some "fire" to her. This lady is just too passive and bland.

He could have even hired a woman of color, make it an interracial pairing like his situation in REAL life. THAT would have been interesting. Why couldn't they have thought outside of the box?

This show is so sad to watch. It needs to be retooled.
