Sad Actor Robert Carradine Badly Injured in Car Crash

Link

Robert Carradine -- the star of "Revenge of the Nerds" -- was involved in a horrifying car accident with a semi-truck ... TMZ has learned.

The head-on collision occurred last week on a Colorado highway at 3 PM. According to the police report -- obtained by TMZ -- Carradine crossed the dividing line and slammed into the truck.

Firefighters removed Carradine from his car and he was rushed to a nearby hospital with "incapacitating" injuries.

Carradine's wife was in the car and also injured.

We called Carradine's rep to find out how he's doing ... so far no word back.

Carradine, the brother of the late David Carradine, was cited for careless driving. Cops say drugs and alcohol were NOT a factor.

Default Actor Robert Carradine's wife claims he tried to kill them

http://www.nickiswift.com/63012/wife...ms-tried-kill/

Quote:
Sounds like Robert Carradine is not in the best frame of mind these days.

According to TMZ, his wife Edith Carradine has filed court documents alleging that the Revenge of the Nerds (1984) actor, 63, confessed to attempting to kill both himself and her by driving into a semi-truck.

The incident in question occurred in Colorado back in March 2015, when it was reported that the actor drove across road dividers and crashed into a semi-truck head-on. At the time, both Robert and Edith were injured, with at least Robert requiring a trip to the hospital. The actor was cited by police for reckless driving.

New York Daily News reports that Colorado State Police Sgt. James Saunders said that the couple was only able to survive the car wreck because they were wearing their seatbelts. "In crashes with this magnitude of damage, seatbelts save lives," he said after the March 2015 car collision. "It takes two seconds to put your seatbelt on. It's always worth it."

In the court documents she filed, Edith claims that four months after the accident her husband, who younger generations may recognize for playing Hilary Duff's father in Lizzie McGuire (2001-04), "confessed to [her] and [their] two children that he deliberately drove into the truck to kill [them] both." She also referenced Robert's previous race car driving experience and noted that he was wide awake at the time of the crash.

Edith believes that Robert's actions were fueled by the depression he suffered after his brother David Carradine passed away in 2009. Afraid of what else Robert will do, Edith is seeking possession of his 17 guns. She's also apparently hoping to get some money, as she's currently unemployed and in debt, and is aiming to take ownership of Robert's guitars, which are worth thousands of dollars.

Oh No Original article

"Revenge of the Nerds" star Robert Carradine confessed to deliberately driving into a semi-truck, intent on killing himself and his wife -- that's her bombshell claim in new legal docs.
Robert's estranged wife, Edith Carradine, says 4 months after the harrowing March 2015 crash on a Colorado highway, she confronted Robert about the accident. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, she says Robert "confessed to me and our two children that he deliberately drove into the truck to kill us both."
She added Robert's an "experienced professional race car driver" who was wide awake ... so when he suddenly veered across the highway and into the full sized semi-truck, he did so on purpose."
Edith says the crash was the result of Robert's depression, which he's been suffering since his brother, David's death in 2009. She wants possession of Robert's 17 guns, fearing he'll hurt himself.
Her other beef is money. In the docs, Edith says she's broke, has no job and owes more than $14k in attorney fees. She wants his guitars, some of which he claims she's already taken, because they're worth several thousand dollars.

And yet millions of fans still listen to these actors when they preach about politics and global warming etc. when it's demonstrated on a daily basis how mentally unstable and ignorant they are.
