Every time HBO's "Game of Thrones" series veers from the original plot line, a tiny part of devoted book fans' souls dies. Well prepare for an onslaught of emotion and fury from "Game of Thrones" devotees because author George R.R. Martin recently announced that there are a lot of unexpected deaths coming on the new season of the HBO series.

“People are going to die who don’t die in the books, so even the book readers will be unhappy,” Martin said at the Writers Guild West Awards on Saturday. “Everybody better be on their toes. [Showrunners] David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are even bloodier than I am.”
