Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin Honor Absent Tracy Morgan at "SNL 40th"

Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin warmly noted the absence of their "30 Rock" co-star Tracy Morgan from "SNL's" 40th anniversary special during a segment on the show.

“I wish my friend Tracy Morgan was here tonight, and I know that he was hoping that he was well enough to be here too,” Fey said.

Baldwin added, “Tracy would have been the first to accurately express how thrilled we all are to be a part of television history.” He then busted out his own impression of Morgan.

“And if he were here tonight, I’m sure Tracy would remind us that more than anything, he would like to get us all pregnant,” Fey said.

Before launching into a clip of Morgan doing his character Brian Fellow, Baldwin said, “See you at the 41st, Tracy.”

Fey added, “We love you.”

Morgan was involved in a car crash in June; he’s still recovering from a traumatic brain injury.

I think that was super! I liked the special a lot - I watched it twice already!

I can understand that. Sometimes its hard to watch something that you find moving or others find moving.
