Mr. Burns voice was a tad different too, from what I've read the original voice actor was Chris Latta better known for voicing Cobra Commander and Starscream. He was later replaced by Hank Azaria.

Mr. Burns was voiced by Christopher Collins in the first season and by Harry Shearer from season 2 onward, actually.

Ah yeah I knew not was either Azaria or Shearer, thanks for clearing that up.

Chris Collins was actually another name that Chris Latta went by, this I know because I frequent lots of Transformers sites.

Looking at it the first episode now, man times have changed. Some changes weren't made for the better.
