10 Doctor Who Spin Offs That Are Just Waiting To Happen

10. Stormageddon: Dark Lord Of All (Alfie Owens) - I don't know how serious they are about this, but obviously they can't have a show about a baby that thinks he is going to rule the earth or whatever else already didn't work on Look Who's Talking.

9. The Jo Grant Jones Adventures - I wasn't watching Doctor Who back in 1971 so I am not familiar with the character, but this seems a little unrealistic.

8. River’s Run - I was never really a big fan of Alex Kingston on ER or anything else she's been on, but I DO like her as the Doctor's wife River Song, there is a lot that they could do with the character and could conceivable do a spin-off.

7. Malcolm’s Musings - a small side character, but I suppose they could spin him off.

6. Smith And Jones - almost sounds like Torchwood Lite, I suppose it could work, but they already did it with Torchwood (which Martha actually had a recurring role on)

5. The Missy Mysteries - obviously this list was made before the current series aired.

4. Like Father, Like Daughter - Georgia Moffett as the Doctor's Daughter could make a good spin-off, but would probably be better if they just brought her back for a three-ep story arc.

3. Parallel Life - I don't think i'd watch a series devoted to the everyday life of Rose Tyler and her human version of the 10th Doctor in a parallel universe - no adventures in time and space? No thank-you.

2. The Paternoster Gang - while I do like the characters of Commander Strax, Jenny Flint and Madame Vastra, I think they are better as a recurring group of characters in the main show. They are like a special treat when we get to see them, too much would spoil the magic.

1. Torchwood - bringing back Torchwood would not be a bad idea - provided they smarten the hell up. The first season of Torchwood was AWESOME, then they started doing some really weird things and killed off some good characters for no good or logical reason. Then they un-killed some of those characters. Then they had a short miniseries that wasn't very good, and then it ended.
