Patrick Schwarzenegger’s mother is “very upset” about his romance with Miley Cyrus, it has been claimed.

The 21-year-old son of Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger confirmed his relationship with We Can’t Stop singer Miley, 22, last month.

And despite Miley attending various family events, including a screening of Maria’s new film Still Alice, a source close to the Schwarzenegger family insists Patrick’s mother is finding her son’s new girlfriend hard to accept.

“She is absolutely not okay with him dating Miley,” the source told HollywoodLife.com. “It’s getting really messy now. It’s got her very upset.”

The source also claimed Maria is so concerned about the relationship she has decided to take matters into her own hands.

According to the source, Maria is planning to sit her son down and have a serious conversation with him about his future with Miley when they spend Thanksgiving together.

“This is putting a huge strain on the holidays for Maria, she’s so worried where this whole thing could lead Patrick,” the source added.

“Maria is planning have a one on one with Patrick over the holidays because she wants to talk some sense into him.”

Miley has been single since reportedly splitting from music producer Mike Will Made It earlier this year. She was previously engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth, but the pair called time on their relationship in September 2013.

And insiders have said Miley is thrilled to have found someone she is beginning to have as strong feelings for as she did for Liam.

Patrick split from girlfriend Taylor Burns earlier this year after a two-year relationship.

Yes, Miley is a mess but this sounds no different than any mother being jealous of who their son is dating. It's normal for a mother to do this; that's why the mother-in-law is always talked about and dreaded.

TMZ reports that Miley Cyrus’ boyfriend, Patrick Schwarzenegger, might even be a harder partier than she is. According to a new report, Schwarzenegger is actually pushing Cyrus beyond her own extreme party limits.

According to celebrity sources who have partied with the two, Schwarzenegger has been partying hard in Miami with Cyrus. He has gone as far as organizing nightclub and strip club trips with her and others. He reportedly takes little time to sleep.

The two were reportedly spotted at a Miami strip club with Paris Hilton. Schwarzenegger was said to have been pulling out wads of cash and “making it rain.” Schwarzenegger has also been seen smoking weed with Cyrus and Wiz Khalifa. A source claims, “He was smoking weed long before he met her [Miley].”

Members of Schwarzenegger’s family are apparently laughing at the idea of Miley Cyrus corrupting Patrick. His family has reportedly known about his habits for some time, and they believe Cyrus could be good for him and slow him down. Knowing Cyrus’ own habits, that is somewhat hard to believe.

Miley Cyrus is rich and so is Arnold's son I am sure, it is not like they will live in a crappy one bedroom apartment, scraping coins together to make it to the end of the month. She makes a lot more money that he does, so it is not like he would have to pay child support. She'll be too busy oral copulating record producers and snorting cocaine off a black man's behind to take care of a child.

I don't care for Miley Cyrus. She is not that attractive and only got as far as she has because of her father. If she was not born the daughter of a famous guy with an idiotic song loved by millions of rednecks, she would be working as a Waffle House waitress or stripping for truckers in Hogjawl, Arkansas. Put your tongue back in your head, lady. Or just get naked on stage and show it off, and yes, show that off. Or not and get hit by a truck.

Well that's a little harsh. I wouldn't want her to get hit by a truck! But I'm not a fan of Miley and I sure wouldn't one either of my sons dating her!
