'Selfie' noticed Renee Zellweger's new face before you did

Renee Zellweger stepped out on the red carpet at Elle's Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration Oct. 20 looking noticeably different, sending social media into an utter frenzy. Surprisingly it looks like the actresses changing appearance was old news.

A day after the internet uproar an episode of ABC's social media savvy show "Selfie" poked fun at Zellweger's changing face with the ultra timely zinger, "Renee Zellweger, who looks d*** good, but doesn't look a thing like Renee Zellweger."

As on the pulse as the show is, it was just a matter of coincidence since TV shows film months in advance. Who knew just how in the know Eliza and Henry could be?

I caught that - it was pretty lucky for the show that coincidence.

...and Renee Zellweger's new look is NOT an improvement, makes her look older and she got rid of any of her distinguishing features so really just looks like a nobody.

By the early 2000s, Renee Zellweger was a serious star. She dazzled us in Chicago, put in two pitch-perfect performances as Bridget Jones, scored an Oscar for Cold Mountain, and turned "You had me at hello" into one of the most quotable lines of all time. But instead of continuing on to ever-greater success, she dropped almost completely off the radar. Why haven't we seen Zellweger onscreen as much lately?
