Variety reports that the outgoing "Late Late Show” host is in “final negotiations” to host a syndicated talk show for Tribune Media that would be shown at 7 pm across the Tribune station group. Premiering in fall 2015, Ferguson’s new show would also retain his current executive producer, Michael Naidus.

It didn't work for Kilborn at 7, and it didn't work for Tribune with Arsenio. I hope Ferguson can find success pre-primetime, but I'm doubtful.

Peter Lassally (formerly associated with Johnny Carson on "THE TONIGHT SHOW") is; Mike is merely the producer. Apparently, he will move up in rank when the new syndicated series begins in 2015. "Geoff Peterson" (with Josh Robert Thompson) is expected to make the move with Craig. "Secretariat" (Bolter & McGowan), I'm not sure......
