I think the saddest Star Trek Moments were, first. Season 1 episode 28. City on the Edge of Forever. When Kirk Had to Let and Watch Edith Keeler die.

#2. Season 2, Episode 22. By any other Name. When Kirk has to watch while one of his 2 crew members is murdered by the Aliens and can do nothing to stop it. The look on the Woman's face who was about to be killed when she looked at Kirk, was so sad made me wanna cry.
