Default Why “Saved by the Bell” was terrible

http://theconcourse.deadspin.com/why...sa-1609532699?

The classic NBC teen comedy has influenced many awful Disney Channel sitcoms, says Drew Magary. "It's a show that holds a special place in the hearts of many people my age,” he notes. "I am not one of these people. Saved by the Bell was f*cking terrible. It wasn't funny. It wasn't well acted. It wasn't well written. It wasn't even well shot. It was a sh*tty placeholder sitcom designed to keep you in the TV room an extra hour before heading out to softball practice.”

This is a great article and it is true. This show doesn't hold up well today.

Thinking back it wasn't as good as I thought it was. Early 90's!! Saturday morning. It was the show to watch! Than on in reruns for years, seemed like it was always on! I had a BIG crush on Mario Lopez, that is why I mainly watched it. Drove my first hubby crazy how much I talked about and fawned over Mario! And I was in my late 20's-early 30's , being younger( and smaller) LOL liked to see what Lisa and Kelly were wearing to try to get ideas for outfits!

I'm glad I quit being a fan of this show ever since after that 20th Anniversary Reunion incident which caused more infinite brawls between both normal fans and mental disabled fans of this original class show.

Obviously enough people loved it or it wouldn't have stuck around for as long as it was shown and I couldn't be more proud to say that I am one of the many who loved it and as I have gotten older, I have come to appreciate the show even more due to how clean it is compared to what is on the TV these days.

God bless you always!!!

The writing was never meant to rival Shakespeare but it was a nice half hour you could enjoy and forget your problems, most other 90's shows involving teens are just forgetful and dull, Step By Step I'm looking at you.

Man this is so true.

This original class is no longer popular anymore and then it is put in low publicity because too mental disabled fans could not stop abhoring the original class by appraising too difficulty along the way for no reason at all.

There is a big bad creative difference in this original class, no offense, IMO.

No there is one 90's teen show that is never forever becoming forgetful at all and I prefer that 90's teen show rather than this original class. Of course, it is not the new class.
