A random thing that I thought of. In Season 6, Jan's character was pregnant. Does anyone know, was Barrie Youngfellow pregnant in real-life? I'm thinking not but you never know!!

Hard to say, I guess. Because it was off-network syndication, the show and its actors never received any coverage in TV Guide, etc. about such things.

Looking at Barrie Youngfellow's biography, I know that she has at least one child (I don't know for sure if she was pregnant during IAL's run). It seems like she fell off the face of the earth. She last acted on screen on Law & Order about 21 years ago. From what I've gathered, she is a NY theater actress at heart, and once It's a Living ended in 1989, she resumed her theater career in NY.

On the right here is the most recent photo that I could find of her:

She didn't really get a "second wind" so to speak (even though she was the de facto "star" after Ann Jillian's departure following Season 3) like Susan Sullivan got with Falcon Crest and later Dharma & Greg, Crystal Bernard with Wings, Sheryl Lee Ralph with Moesha, Gail Edwards with Full House, or even Wendy Schaal with American Dad. She was going to play Blossom's mom on Blossom, but she was dropped after the original pilot, when it was decided that Blossom's dad should be single.

According to Wikipedia (yes, I know) she is as of 2011, the president of the California corporation To Be Announced, Inc.
