Default Luke Perry: "I think reality TV sucks for the most part”

http://www.people.com/article/luke-p...ity-television

"It's put so many writers out of business and put so many actors out of work that it's changed the face of entertainment,” says the former “Beverly Hills 90210” star. "As a guy who has grown up making his living making primetime television – get that reality s––– out of here and give more writers and actors a chance to make shows that people will watch."

Other than DWTS which I like to watch because I enjoy dancing, I think Luke Perry is right on with his assessment of Reality Shows. They Suck!!!!! Bring back the good comedic sitcom.

I agree with Luke Perrry (and for the record I saw an interview with David Hyde Pierce and he said that reality shows are crap!). I hate them too. No disrespect intended but I don't really think of "DWTS" as a reality show b/c with the exception of their rehearsals, the camera doesn't really follow them around. I T thought that would be more like a competition show. But I only watch it when someone interesting is on. Other than that, I stick to the Disney Channel.

"Reality" Shows are to TV what Disco was to Rock & Roll.

Reality tv shows has been terrible ever since 1992 and sadly it's not ending anytime soon.

I treat reality tv like infomercials . I ignore them. I program my shows around them. That's why live tv is dying. Nobody with a brain will watch that crap.

and reality tv is not the only thing that's horrible, you got these remakes of classic tv shows that are just as bad as reality tv as well.

it's been awful since the 90's

That may be but some of those disco records that I had the common sense to hang onto instead of being stupid and tossing into bonfires have made me a killing on Ebay.

Reality TV reminds me of those trashy talk shows of the late 80's to the early 2000's/
