Bad Teacher is a comedy based on a 2011 film of the same name that revolves around a former trophy wife who becomes a teacher in the hopes of meeting another wealthy man. Written and created by Hillary Winston (Community, Happy Endings), the show will center around Meredith Davis as she attempts to become somewhat of a better person - with a little help from her friends.

I am looking forward to it - Ari Graynor is hilarious and it looks like the rest of the cast is pretty good too.

Meredith is a gold-digger, but when push comes to shove she chooses her students’ welfare over her ambition to become someone’s new wife. That is a pat resolution in a movie but not enough to sustain a series.” PLUS: It’s a well-played ephemeral farce, it’s a pretty amusing sitcom, it’s a flavorless, sanitized and timid retread, how CBS wooed Ari Graynor, and Graynor looks back at her TV career.
