Are its creators making the entire series nonsensical? Read more at http://www.hitfix.com/tv-tattle#11rCCUBMw5x8PsGo.99 |

More than likely the assumption in this article is, excuse the pun, DEAD-ON. Many a favorite television show has ended in a way that left it's faithful followers feeling a range of emotions from anger, to frustration to "How could they DO that?!" Thinbk about it; The Sopranos, Seinfeld, Rosanne and many other shows that I can think of at this exact moment have ended their long run with terrible final seasons or final episodes that flew in the face of all that was created up until that point. So I would NOT be surprised if what is alluded to here is EXACTLY what occurs because that seems to be the trend.

Last night’s developments could be great for the show. PLUS: Don’t do it, “HIMYM!,” the journey has been pretty crummy lately and the destination is the only hope for saving “HIMYM,” and why it’s likely a twist. Read more at http://www.hitfix.com/tv-tattle/2#tJQhsA7Xufwq3KtG.99 |

It would be "a refreshing detour from the usual sitcom punctuation,” says Joyce Eng. "Happy endings are not assured in life. Some love stories are tragic — hell, the most famous ones are, and I think Ted, the hopeless romantic that he is, would consider his and The Mother's an epic love story — and there's no reason why a sitcom cannot reflect that.” Read more at http://www.hitfix.com/tv-tattle#HoBYa21gVEdmtkmv.99 |

Actually when I saw Ted's sad reaction, I thought it was a hint that HIS mother (Virginia) wasn't at his wedding. I figured they were going to kill her off. This has been a really good season so far, I hope they don't spoil it by doing something stupid like killing off Cristin's character.

With 1 hour to go, “HIMYM” still has a lot of business to take care of.
