No news on any future releases, just some stupid a$$ best of set combined with Good Times, benson, and what's happening next month.

Just don't understand the freeze after season 6

I really wish Sony would release the remaining seasons or sell/lease the rights to Shout! or another company. Another option could be Sony MOD. I'm up for anything at this point. I've seriously thought about buying bootleg.

It would be nice if Encore Black started airing it so we could at least record commercial free and good quality prints.

Only thing being released is 2 eps of season 1 and 2 eps of season 2.

I just thought about this since Encore Black actually just started airing two episodes of The Jeffersons every weeknight at 9 EST/6 PST. I think that it's pretty safe to suggest that it being on for at least 10 years. People may not want to buy that many DVDs to get an entire series when you can get all of Sanford and Son or Good Times (which each didn't last as long as The Jeffersons) for less money.

Any Jeffersons fan should want to get the complete series because it's filled with a lot of surprises
