Anyone have a favorite episode? And what is your favorite season?
I haven't watched them all yet so I'm not sure.

I like Laura's Little Lie, because I think it's MTM's best episode.

In our house the two favourite episodes (watched 50+ times) would have to be "A Ghost of A. Chantz" and "Long Night's Journey into Day". Some more favourites are "The Night the Roof Fell In", "The Funny Thing About Women", "Who Owes Who What?", "Obnoxious, Offensive, Egomaniac, etc.". They're all amazing though!

I like all of the ones mentioned above plus many others, but three I have to mention immediately are That's My Boy, Coast to Coast Big Mouth, The Great Petrie Fortune
Easier to name the episodes I HATE: the ones with Happy Spangler, Uncle George, the wife beater next door and the Irwin Carp old radio comedian |

Coast to Coast Big Mouth! Alan's rant to Laura about all his toupee's and what is he supposed to with them now that she's revealed to the world that he's bald is one the most hilarious scenes ever filmed for television! And I love Laura's response: "There must be some needy bald people"!!

I don't know the shows well enough to know the titles but my absolute favorite was the one where they played the practical joke on Rob which ended with 'cluck like a chicken' and they spent the whole show getting Morey Amsterdam back,
Next was Morey's black sheep pool hustler brother played by one of my all-time favorites, Phil Leeds. Then the great ending of the Richie switched at birth episode with Greg Morris. |

The Bottom Of Mel Cooley's Heart. Perhaps the only time Buddy ever stood up for Mel after Alan screamed and humiliated Mel.

Does anyone know the name of the episode where Rob is trying to break into Alan Brady or Mel Cooley's office? I can't remember whose office it is.

Uhny Uftz, A Ghost of A. Chantz, If it looks like a walnut. Basically because they remind me of Three Stooges Episodes.
And any ones that feature Morey Amsterdam. |
