Question How Would You Grade the TV Networks' 2013

Basically in other words, what would your individual American TV network (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, and NBC) report card/analyst be (i.e. A for best and F for worst) and why (like what they did right and wrong and now they can improve for 2014)?

I don't even know what CW is.As far as the others go,aside from a few minutes here and there I have not watched them for quite some time.If I had to give them a grade from about 2000-onwards an F seems about right.

I watch very few shows when they originally air on network TV. Most of my TV viewing is DVDs from my collection.

I'll rate the networks based on the shows I watch when they originally air:

ABC: B
Scandal, Once Upon a Time, Mistresses, & The Neighbors

CBS: C
2 Broke Girls & 48 Hours

NBC: D
Days of our Lives

FOX: F
I watch NOTHING on FOX

CW: F
I watch NOTHING on CW

Most of my viewing is also from DVD's, Blu rays, and now, streaming.

ABC: C-

I like the news station here in Philadelphia, the C goes to them.

CBS: A

Blue Bloods, 2 Broke Girls, Dave Letterman and the CBS morning, mid-day and evening teams are what I watch for, plus the crystal clear 1080i signal is the best on TV.

NBC: D

Nothing appeals to me on the network outside of sports coverage. I watch the hockey games, and Sunday Night Football occasionally.

FOX: B

Sports, news, TMZ, it's a nice flow at FOX, plus their news anchors are cool, here in Philadelphia. Their 720 signal is very dull, though, ashamed that they have the Super Bowl this year.

CW: F

None of the shows interest me at all.

Personal feelings aside...

ABC - D; Besides Scandal breaking out in it's second season, nothing has clicked for them. They continue to make horrible scheduling moves (see Tuesday and Wednesday) and order shows with limited appeal (Lucky 7, Super Fun Night, Betrayal, etc.). Overall, they are a mess.

CBS - B; They finished in first for the 2012-13 season, so that is a major plus. The Thursday comedy block is not as strong as I expected it to be, but it's still fairly solid. There are problems on their schedule as well (new dramas are hard to find on their schedule; Vegas, Golden Boy, and Hostages performed poorly) but they are in a fairly good position.

CW - B-; I don't watch any of their shows, but they had a pretty good 2013. Whose Line is it Anyway launched very strong and held throughout the season. The network also made nice inroads on Tuesday and Wednesday. They still have weak spots, but they are becoming far fewer.

FOX - F; Yikes. The Following was the only new show to find any traction, and other than that, it's been a bust. They have acclaimed Brooklyn 99, but the ratings are not there. Sleepy Hollow started strong, but it has started to slump, and I'm beginning to think the audience will tire quickly. The X Factor took a nosedive, American Idol was its weakest yet, they dumped Bones on Friday, and Tuesdays are a mess.

NBC - C-; With the horrible early 2013 they had, giving them anything above a C would be too nice. The network jumped back in the fall and found a hit in The Blacklist. Chicago Fire also seems to be doing well. If NBC can fix Thursdays, they will have a lot off their plate.
