Initial reviews have been very positive and have focused, both predictably and deservingly, around Jennifer Lawrence. But with the release of Catching Fire, it’s worth taking a look at the career of one of the series’ supporting gems: Woody Harrelson. It’s no coincidence that his character, Haymitch Abermathy, plays a pivotal role in The Hunger Games saga. It’s something Harrelson’s been doing throughout his career, turning in performances that shape both the film and our memory of it – both good and bad.
