As a huge fan I am glad she is no longer associated with this trite, limiting, yawn-inducing series. I have seen many, many examples of her work and frankly this show was beneath her. Now she is free to move onto other more creative, imaginative and productive movies and theatrical productions. Goodbye and good riddance, Person of Interest.

Taraji P. Henson explains her shocking Person of Interest exit: "It was the most money I’d ever seen in my life, and I was so miserable"

Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo's revelation that she almost quit the ABC drama because it was a "disaster" and "toxic" behind the scenes wasn't the only news from her Variety chat with Empire star Henson. Henson also revealed that she once left a TV series because of her unhappiness. “I had to leave a show before, and it was the most money I’d ever seen in my life, and I was so miserable," says Henson. "It was stealing my joy. I just remember praying to God: ‘God, I’m not happy creatively.’ (The) next day, I called the producer. He got it. And I walked away, not even knowing where I was going. I ended up doing a play in Pasadena.” Henson didn't mention the show's name, but as TVLine points out that she abruptly and shockingly left Person of Interest in 2013 and joined a Pasadena Playhouse play two weeks later.
