Default The Quarterback (Finn Tribute)

The tribute to Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson) aired last night and it was one of the most touching, heartwreching things I have ever seen. I was not a huge fan of the majority of the songs, to be honest, I only enjoyed the opening (Seasons of Love) Mercedes' song (Stand By You) and Santana's (If I Die Young)

Overall I loved that Glee never came out and said how he died, it wasnt about that at all, it was about remembering him. There was however, a PSA at the end that talked about addiction and thats fine, I just really loved how it was no where in the episode.

I think that episode is what the show and fans needed to mourn the loss of a pivotal character and normally Glee taking a month hiatus annoys me to no end but this time it is the right thing to do.

Everyone else enjoy it too?

I thought it was interesting, how Finn's jacket got passed around, and in the last scene, Mr. Shue opens up his briefcase and pulls it out, and finally breaks down.

He was the last person I expected to have it, especially after his remark to Puck, but at the same time it fit perfectly

Default "Glee's" Cory Monteith tribute left out one of the show's lasting attributes: cold ho

http://t.co/qVmFndqnTn

"Erasing Finn," says Hank Stuever, "seemed to be the ultimate goal: no clips of Monteith’s character from past episodes, just vague memories and broad strokes. That undermined the episode's strongest scenes, including one in which Finn’s mother, Carole (Romy Rosemont), broke down in tears while packing up her son’s bedroom." PLUS: No one can accuse "Glee" of crass exploitation, and it was a triumph of restraint.

Anyone know why Quinn and Brittney were missing from the Finn/Cory Tribute episode?

I think their actresses no longer wanted to take part in Glee. Thats why the end of the last season Brittany got early admission to MIT

As it turns out, Heather Morris (Brittney) was heavily pregnant at the time (she has since given birth) and Dianna Agron (Quinn) is involved with filming a movie.

Both Dianna and Heather will appear in the 100th and their final appearance in this show will be this upcoming Mckinley high school graduation episode.

After that graduation episode, Rachel will focus on broadway, but it seems like he will find a new and better boyfriend in the season five finale with these important requirements:

- broadway type

- no erratic love technique

- no drug nor alcohol substance

- no meanness nor rudeness

- educated

Some of you think Rachel cannot move on from Finn but some of us think she needs to move on from him. But maybe this will be brought up without a choice about Rachel's final new and better Broadway boyfriend:

The broadway boyfriend will mention that used to had a high school girlfriend who had an erratic love technique in her entire life, like Finn, but died after her high school graduation, but cannot move on from his girlfriend.
