Question Til Death Boned the Fish When...

http://www.bonethefish.com/viewtopics.php?692

Quote:
The classic Cousin Oliver/New Kid in Town scenario. The shows first season was SPOT ON with 'newly wed lifestyle' vs. 'married for 35 years mentality' and was crazy funny! Adding J.B. to the cast, along with stale/mildly funny material made, the show start to drag.

Day 1
It's one of the worst sitcoms I have ever watched.

LOL! I love how this series that lasted for 4 years has this much dislike. I only saw like two episodes but thought it was funny. The fact it's so hated makes me want to sit down and watch it all.

I watched this show on DVD only during its original run. Which meant, I had only seen the first two seasons. I don't get the hate. I think it's a funny sitcom.

I finally got to see the last two seasons a few months ago, via Amazon Instant Video and I have to say, it wasn't nearly as good once the Woodcocks left. It feels like the producers forced the Kenny character on us as if he were a breakout star from the show. And while I thought he was funny, he wasn't better than the Woodcocks and shouldn't have been treated like he was. But then Kenny left the show after season three, causing them to reformat the show again. The fourth season is my least favorite season of the show. I hate how they kept changing actresses for the daughter (a total of four actresses in a four season show) but above all else, it simply wasn't as funny as it had been in the past (in my opinion, of course).

So official answer from Adamantium... "'til Death" Boned the Fish when The Woodcocks left.

I loved this show! I wish somebody would bring it back in syndication. I never use DVDs I either stream things or tape them on the DVR. Maybe Netflix or Hulu will get it, wishful thinking huh !!! I do have one season on amazon prime. I did see Ebay has some of the seasons terribly cheap so I could get out my portable DVD player and make a flash drive I guess I loved Brad Garrett so much and saw him in person at a casino he was so funny and charming so since then I love anything hes in. I loved Joely Fisher too. Have a great weekend all !!!!
