Question I Love Lucy Boned the Fish When...

http://www.bonethefish.com/viewtopics.php?656

Quote:
Love Lucy is an American situation comedy, starring Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance and William Frawley. The black-and-white series originally ran from October 15, 1951 to April 1, 1960 on CBS (including The Lucy Desi Comedy Hour). The show continued on for three more seasons with 13 one hour specials, running from 1957 to 1960, known first as The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Show and later in reruns as The Lucy Desi Comedy Hour.

I loved the entire series...including the Connecticut episodes and The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour. The first season was the weakest, IMO, but it kept getting better.

Never jumped (that's right, I said "jumped").

How many times did I almost buy the entire series on DVD?
A dozen. So close.

I just know it will come on Blu-ray the second I click on "confirm"

Hurry up Blu!

Never. Some of my favorite episodes are from when they were in the Connecticut house.

I agree. I have a tough time getting through the first season, but beyond that it was great, except for a couple weak hour episodes ("Summer Vacation" and "Mustache"). The second through fifth seasons were brilliant!

I agree. I have seen the show so many times that I have quotes from the show. It is one of those shows that have seen a million times but you still want to see it time to time.

Never ever EVER. Still brilliant and wickedly funny 60 years later. The best show ever...setting a truly high bar for comedy...and just all-around trailblazing. ILL chases the sharks away!

I dont think it boned the fish either. The CT. ones are some of the funniest episodes of the series.

The worst ILL episodes were ten times better than the best of today's sitcoms. That being said, I don't care for the Connecticut episodes or the Comedy Hour quite as much (except for the great Danny Thomas episode).
