Nancy Valen (Samantha Thomas) blocked me on Facebook! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This came after I kept trying to get her attention back in April in regards to a Facebook fan page that I made about her:

I've had the biggest crush on her ever since I saw her play the new school nurse at Bayside on Saved by the Bell.

She more than likely interpreted what I was doing as borderline creepy and "stalkerish" (or whatever constitutes that sort of behavior online) and an invasion of her privacy, and proceeded to immediately block me. I'm actually surprised that she had gotten around to what I was doing, since she hardly ever updates her Twitter account for instance.

Some celebrities and their management take security very seriously. For every awful Rebecca Schaeffer story that you hear, there are a handful of less lethal/unsuccessful incidents that occur. The victims of these incidents are usually C or D-listers who do not have the financial means to afford high end security.

I used to volunteer for security for science fiction conventions several years ago, and the protocols we had to observe were pretty rigid.

Please take the hint and leave this person alone.

Hint of advice: If you fear that you may come off as a stalker, then I would recommend that you stay off of social networking sites, period.

Well, that's sort of the whole point in being blocked in the first place, now is it!?
