Default "Big Bang's" big year attributed to an emphasis on relationships over science talk

http://www.tvguide.com/News/Big-Bang...y-1065616.aspx

Says Johnny Galecki: "I don't remember the last time Jim (Parsons) or I had one of those long, brain-wrenching, scientific-jargon speeches. It's not about that anymore; it's about how they relate to one another, as opposed to how they relate to science."

The writers and actors involved here have done a wonderful job in the area of the four males' character developments. In the begining, they were a bit shallow and cold and in Sheldon's case, interminably crass and unfeeling.Since, they've become much warmer and "human",with Parson's character making the long awaited realization that chem labs and text books don't provide all the information necessary for truly fullfilling existence.

That is a good development for the series, but at the same time they should be careful not to stray from their original premise as well- which means, there should still be scientific jargon included as this is one main reason some fans are watching- for those who can identify with the four main male characters. (Along with their love of sci-fi movies and TV shows, comic books and superheroes, etc.)

Wait- which science TV hero was that? Was that the role Bob Newhart played? I'm glad to hear they are still keeping that science connection- I just haven't really watched the current episodes- I've mainly seen reruns on cable, though sometimes I catch the network airings.

Default "The Big Bang Theory's" quality has improved season by season

http://www.thedailybeast.com/article...than-ever.html

Season 6 has been its best season yet, says Ken Tucker, adding: "'The Big Bang Theory' is finishing up a season in which it remains both underrated and high-rated, a combo that currently looks like one new pop-culture model for long-term success."

The potential for the next season is really huge as long as the writers take the multiple opportunities before them.

It's time for
- Penny to begin a successful career (it would be a riot if she got a part in a weekly science fiction series... Sheldon would see her in a completely different light)
- Sheldon to discover his more human side,
- Raj to start to become more stable and build social relationships,
- the group to discover who they are without Leonard while he's away.
- Leonard and Penny's relationship to grow.

Those are just a few potential story lines they could follow. I love this show and can't wait to see what they come up with.

I think they should look at minimizing the laugh tracks as well. The characters don't need that.

These suggestions pretty much cover the bases really.I can't think of any other logical ways for things to go.I just think the ultimate series finale would reveal the male cast members to be some sort of earthly alien experiment. This would explain their acceptance of Science-Fiction as dutiful reality!!
