Brian Williams’ prime-time newsmagazine just met the network ax.

"Rock Center with Brian Williams" has been cancelled by NBC after two seasons.

Despite being well-received by critics, the program only averaged 4.1 million viewers and a lowly 1.0 rating among adults 18-49 while airing on Thursdays at 10 p.m. this season.

i think NBC botched this one - the low ratings were more the networks scheduling and lack of support than anything else

Agreed, this was a bad scheduling time.

I really enjoy Rock Center. I thought they had great segments. They are still airing episodes. When will it go off the air for good?
