LOL...I hate the show with or without Jerry!
Now if you could raise John Ritter from the dead and do a 3's Company reunion! |

Absolutely not. I mean why even bother? The show is called Seinfeld and the show revolved around Jerry's life. It wasn't a perfect biography of his life but I think a lot of it was based on his life so no... NBC shouldn't bring back Seinfeld and I think they'd have a very hard time trying to do it even if they wanted to. Jerry would sue them like crazy, I imagine. I doubt that any of the other cast members would be interested. I'm sure they could try to do a similar TV series... call it something completely different with the same concept but I'm 99.9% sure that it would be a disaster. Don't mess with the originals! It never works! I didn't even like that 'reunion' show on "Curb Your Enthusiasm"!

BRING IT BACK!!!
have the new character (Charlie Scheen maybe) move into Jerry's apartment and have everyone under the assumption Jerry moved away to another country |

Would they have to change the name of the show if Jerry isn't around? Either way it's a terrible idea.

It ran its course, and had a really good run. It would be
a disaster to bring it back. Let it be. |

I totally agree with the "don't even think about it" crowd.
It's been almost 15 years since the show left the airwaves. Everyone in the cast is 15 years older. It would never work. You couldn't pay the actors enough for the 4 of them to agree to continuing the series, even if they were interested (which they're not). Seinfeld required specific pacing and timing, which was fine for actors in their 30s, but it would never work now. I don't even see them ever doing a "reunion" show. IMHO, there's never been a reunion show of any series that wasn't a disaster (compared to the original series, that is). Most reunion shows are beyond pathetic, including "The Dick van Dyke Show" (which might have been the best series ever... granted, that was more like 40 years after the original rather than 15 years after, but it was awful). People have their DVDs. The show still is on in reruns, and still plays extremely well today, and probably will for a long time. There's no reason to try to revive it. In addition to the actors, the show also had some of the best sitcom writers ever. They're not around any more either. |

Jerry was actually my least favorite character. To me, Jason Alexander made the show, he was absolutely hilarious.

What, like a remake, with new cast members playing the parts?
I doubt NBC would be able to pay Jerry Seinfeld enough to get rights to such a probable travesty. |

I wouldnt mind seeing a reunion type special. Maybe 3 or 4 episodes to see what Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer are doing now. Follow up on what Curb Your Enthuisasm did. But as a series, again?? I dont think so.
