Default Why "GMA" is beating "Today"

http://www.forbes.com/sites/jeffberc...beating-today/

What's happened this year, says Jeff Bercovici, is that "Today" played it safe while ABC took risks. And those who take risks, get rewarded.

I can't understand why GMA is winning because to me the show sucks. I don't like NONE of the anchors

Give me AL, natalie and Savannah any day of the week over those GMA clowns

^Right now, I'm more of a Today Show fan myself as well (the first three hours only, that is), but I wouldn't go as far as to call the GMA people "clowns" (especially not during this tough time that Robin Roberts is going through right now).

Solomon is very clueless. He watches something for 30 seconds one day and bases it on that. He has no idea what is going on. Robin Roberts has more charisma and fans than anyone on morning television. And she is the most popular morning host on network TV for the past few years. He is the clown for calling people like her a clown. Like I said before, he needs to change his username. He has no facts.

I think GMA crew is fun, fresh, upbeat and has chemistry. Something the Today Show has not had AT ALL since Meredith Vierra left. Also GMA turns it on for serious news as well. They have Stephanopolous...who does Today have for serious news? Matt Lauer?? I pass by both morning shows every morning. The crowd used to be so big for Today...now it is nothing compared to what they have at GMA in Times Square.

Actually I wasn't referring to Robin, I was referring to the woman with the blonde hair and the guy with the dark hair. Those are the two i see the most when i turn to GMA

Josh Elliott is from ESPN SportsCenter. How could you not know him? You're no sports fan either. And Lara Spencer is just the entertainment news anchor...

Obviously you're not watching the show.

I wish Pavan and TVFactFan had not used the word "clown" as an insult during this discussion. Also I wish TVFactFan had properly identified Josh Elliot and Lara Spencer by their proper names and not referred to Josh Elliot as a "nobody". Even if TVFactFan could not remember their names, he could have searched for information about them before posting here since he saw them on "Good Morning America".

If I couldn't remember his name then that confirmed that he has not arrived.

In the past I preferred to watch the Today Show, but now I enjoy GMA. Their crew has much better chemistry.

Default "GMA" topped "Today" in 1st quarter of 2013

It's the best results since the mid-90s.

You keep saying they will catch up to GMA. Still hasn't happened. Bunch of kids? You're calling Robin Roberts and George goofy? Get glasses or a clue man. They all have chemistry. That is seriously lacking on Today Show.

The removal of Ann Curry is probably what hurt the Today show
