Default Nickelodeon cancels "Victorious"

http://www.deadline.com/2012/08/nick...three-seasons/

The Victoria Justice comedy won't get a 4th season.

wow, that seems crazy - Nickelodeon is really putting the laser sights on their own feet now, aren't they?

maybe if they'd let shows stick around a little longer they'd be able to build a bigger stable of shows and be able to compete against Disney - clearly they have just given up now.

Nickelodeon must really be in a rut now that they're getting rid of their two biggest shows- iCarly and Victorious.

What on earth are they thinking?

Sure it sucks, but the cast can't stay in High School forever. What would've been great though is to see something like this:

As of this writing, there are 15 episodes left to air, and as far as I know, they're all in the can.

the only good thing about this is that within about another year or two they are going to be so desperate that they will probably try and bring back Drake and Josh.

Default 5 TV Shows That Were Cancelled For Ridiculous Reasons

http://www.fame10.com/entertainment/...streamview=all

Quote:
4. Victorious
When the Nickelodeon show Victorious was abruptly canceled, there were rumors that a feud between Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice was the reason for it. According to Grande, the show was cancelled because Justice wanted to do a solo tour instead. “Sweetheart the only reason Victorious ended is because one girl didn’t want to do it,” she wrote on Twitter. “She chose to do a solo tour instead of a cast tour. If we had done a cast tour Nickelodeon would have ordered another season of Victorious while Sam and Cat filmed simultaneously but she chose otherwise.”

Lets' face it. Ariana was the breakout star and I'm glad that Sam and Cat was canaceled. She was way better off without it and I couldn't take anymore of Jeanette Curdy.

something sounds fishy in that explanation - "Sam & Cat" wouldn't even have been a thing had Victorious not been cancelled; it sounds like an outright lie that Ariana is claiming she was supposed to have been starring on both shows simultaneously.

It seems more plausible that Ariana was turning into the complete diva she eventually became and made the show too difficult to make with her participating. Of course Nickelodeon would want to cash in on her growing popularity by giving her her own show in Sam & Cat, I don't think they even expected it to last more than a season before they would lose her as her popularity grew.

Kinda ironic same thing happened when rumors feud jennette and Ariana fighting on Sam and cat because they never wanted to do those but Nickelodeon forced them. That fight lead to Sam and cat cancellation
