Failed attempts to get an actor/actress over - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

You would probably see this more with males then females. But there have been a lot of attempts to get someone young and pretty over as the next Hollywood leading man or lady.

You see them headline films at the start of their career, then they go down to support roles, and then minor, and then straight to DVD dreck.

It maybe to due lack of talent, or they just did not click. So what are some attempts?
