Default Cast changes after season 1.

Am i the only one or is everybody else extremely glad about the cast changes after season 1?It had been so long.Since i have seen this show. That i forgot Christine,Ross and Mack wern't even there yet.The show was so much better after the cast changes.I'm watching season 1 and while still good. The chemistry really just wasn't there yet.And the charecters, just were not as good at all.

Harry Anderson in the first season was still playing his Harry "The Hat" character from Cheers.

Cool

I actually liked Billie. I kind of wish she hadn't been replaced. However I have to admit Harry Anderson and Markie Post worked very well together!

It's interesting and even a bit amusing reading on other message boards how many people disliked Ellen Foley's time on the show:

Ah yes, John Astin. His guest appearances were always funny.

Also, a pre-"Star Trek" Brent Spiner as Bob Wheeler, along with his wife June.

Speaking again of Markie Post hotness, one of my favorite episodes was the one where Sela Ward guest starred and Harry and Dan are drooling all over her, and Christine is jealous. It ends with all of them going to a party, with Christine wearing some dress with a VERY low-plunging neckline (which was a good thing, b/c Ms. Post was stacked). Dan looks over at her and says "Those are new."

Favorite bailiff: Roz.

Best actor: John Larroquette. Dude can bring the funny. People probably don't remember this now, but he won the Emmy Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy four years running, and didn't win it more only because he stopped submitting his name.

Worst love interest: Ellen Foley (Billie), the public defender who appeared Karen Austin (Lana the court clerk from the beginning) left and before Markie Post arrived. Never liked her.

Best running storyline: Dan runs for office.

I can't agree. I thought Karen Austin was attractive enough, and funny, but Ellen Foley did absolutely nothing for me. Although neither of them could hold a candle to the luscious Ms. Post.

Yeah, the men were great. I loved Mac. Dan was so sleazily sexy. I really liked Markie Post too. I saw a couple of episodes with Ellen Foley and it really shows how one person can affect chemistry. Ellen was great - pretty, tough, great lines - but Markie had the right stuff.

I have realized that I officially hate Billie. She needs to get her eyes de-bugged, or her teeth de-bucked, or... something.

I always thought Billie was on heavy doses of speed. She was waaaaaay too hyper.
