Default Does anyone remember this show?

I'm trying to find out more information about a late 70's or possibly early 80's sitcom called "Makin' It" or "Making It". All I can remember about it are two lines from the theme song. They're not too brilliant. Please help!

mrsloo:

I remember this show, although I didn't watch it on a regular basis. The show was called "Making It" and debuted in the late 1970s. It starred David Naughton as a guy trying to make it as a professional dancer (Basically, ABC was trying to cash in on the popularity of the movie "Saturday Night Fever"). The David Naughton character was a not-too-subtle clone of John Travolta's character from the movie.

The show's theme song recieved airplay on the top 40s radio stations around the country, so you could probably find it on a 45 in a store that specializes in vintage albums and records.

I hope this helps!

David Naughton was the Dr. Pepper guy in the 1970s, for those of you who have forgotten.

I remember the show. The theme song was a top 10 hit and being 9 years old and liking the song made me watch. I loved the opening credits when he ate ice cream from the machine. It did not last long and was another silly comedy from the 70s.
